For a long time I have been thinking about building a windmill as you find them in the Netherlands. I started with a mockup months ago for trying out sizes and shape and it's been sitting there for well ... months. Two weeks ago I decided "enough is enough!". I opened Blender and started building. It took quite a few attempts .... building in Blender, uploading to the testgrid, trying it, testing it, going back to Blender to tweak and add the next part. I am very happy with the outcome and here it is .... Xanthone, a Dutch windmill!

Woad

I felt like a change for a while now and as you may have noticed I do like Asian influences so I decided to change my land from tropical island to more Japanese. Ofcourse that means a new house was needed so I started building what's now knows as Woad. Angled walls, diamond shaped rooms .... diamond shaped roofs (I didn't think that one through lol) ... it came out stunning! See for yourself ...
